Urban Grill on Main owners Randy and Betsy are lifelong Cincinnatians with deep connections to the region. As brother- and sister-in-law, they became business partners when they opened Urban Grill Food Truck in 2013. They decided to launch Urban Grill on Main in January 2017.

Randy’s parents were homestyle country cooks. Both cooked from scratch and there was always some sort of fresh cookie, pie or doughnut ready if you stopped by. Oh yes, and there was a jar of bacon grease that lived on the stove. It added just the right amount of “yummy” to breakfast, lunch and dinner. Randy has picked up all those ‘cooking genes.’

Betsy has designed gourmet kitchens in her last 2 homes. Hosting family events, developing recipes for large tailgating parties and her food blog are second nature. Betsy was kind enough to donate her expertise as the general contractor for The Anderson Hills United Methodist Church, in Anderson Township. She not only oversaw the major remodel of the church but the design and installation of a large commercial kitchen there.
