Urban Grill on Main came to life after the Cincinnati foodie community embraced our Urban Grill Food Truck. Here’s the story of how it all started.

What began as a conversation at a family picnic one Sunday afternoon, turned into what is now the Urban Grill Food Truck. Randy and Betsy agreed they wanted to serve flavorful food at the highest level of excellence. They also wanted to build a truck with the same level of excellence and great flexibility.

Months of planning and building took place. Urban Grill Food Truck is among the the most well-equipped local food trucks, with 3 large refrigeration units, 2 full convection ovens, flat top griddle, double burners, char grill, fryer and even an on board wood smoker. Polished stainless steel marine grade outlets, fittings and hardware were used throughout the truck.

The truck features an impressive sound and light show inside and out as well as an extremely quiet generator large enough to power the Urban Grill (and another truck should they need a hand!) It’s been great serving the people of Cincinnati and that’s why they chose to feature photos of the city on their truck, shot by 2 local photographers. This provides great entertainment as people tour the truck looking at familiar sights and figuring out locations of photographic scenes.
